Owen-Withee School Board Hears Administrators' Reports, (Middle/High School)

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting last week.Jr/Sr High School Dean of Students Julie Van Ark reported on Bryce Niemi receiving a Kohl Excellence Scholarship which she received at a reception in Chippewa Falls. Ms Kodl and 8 students traveled to La Crosse for the State FBLA competition. Six Owen-Withee students competed in the event.
On Wednesday, April 15th, the Jr/Sr high school students competed in the first ever Vocabulary Super Bowl. A goal of the school has been to improve vocabulary this year. Home rooms competed in a multi round completion to see who has improved their knowledge of vocabulary the most.
Finally, it was reported that Mrs. Van Ark and seven students headed to Madison for the State Forensics competition, Junior Prom will be held on Saturday, April 25th from 8?11PM, and State Solo and Ensemble will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at UWEC.
