Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the committee reports at their meeting last week.The council heard the Parks and Recreation Board report from their April 8th meeting. The Recreation Director informed the council that there was good participation in the winter programs. There were several tournaments held throughout the winter as well. She also mentioned a couple of donations the department received.
It was also mentioned new playground equipment has been installed at Cliff's Park, a new roof will be installed on the gazebo and they're working on cleaning up the trails in the Arboretum. It was also during this meeting that the department requested 30% of the Room Tax funds which was then approved by the tourism committee and full council.
The council also heard an update on the city's water and sewer systems. The water is doing well and they'll have the money to make their next loan payment. Sewer is a little behind and they may have to get money from elsewhere to make the next payment.
