The Highground Holds First Stone Placement Ceremony of 2015

-On Saturday, April 18th, the first stone placement ceremony of 2015 took place at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park.American Legion Riders from Wisconsin Rapids, and the VFW Post from East Troy, presented colors at the ceremony as friends and family gathered to honor loved ones.
The Registry Book holds many stories and comments about those honored with stones at The Highground Veterans Park. Located in the Learning Center Library, it is fascinating to read and extremely educational with stories not typically written. Take some time, browse through them, you may find a past friend, loved one and learn more about the lives of our brave veterans and those supporting them.
Stone Placement Ceremonies are scheduled each month April through October. The 2015 season has been extremely popular with open dates left in October only. 2016 is open already for applications with some reservations made already. Contact The Highground at for more information.
