Semi Crash Near Hixton Sunday Morning

-A semi crashed near Hixton in Jackson County on Sunday morning.According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, around 7pm Sunday morning, a semi driven by 27-year-old Abdi Mohamed Osman of Minnesota left the roadway of I-94, struck a guardrail and hit a support structure of the Highway 121 overpass.
The semi-trailer was totaled and Osman and his passenger, 28-year-old Dahir Abdulahi Bedel of Texas, received non-life threatening injuries. The DNR's spill hotline was contacted because 30 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled and DOT bridge Engineers will inspect the overpass for structural integrity.
The crash remains under investigation and enforcement action may be taken against the driver depending on the outcome.
