Greenwood School Board Hears From Committees

The Greenwood School Board heard the Building and Grounds Committee and Finance Board Sub-Committee at their recent meeting.The Building and Grounds committee, comprised of Shane Rassmussen, Joel Suda, Bill Herr, Jerome Krempasky, Jeanie Zimm, Todd Felhofer and Mark Lacke, reported on ideas including, but not limited to, the elementary parking lot re-design, elementary window replacement, chalkboard coverings, handicap bathroom options, school van and pickup/plow replacement, chimney repair and tennis court resurfacing,
A Finance board sub-committee, comprised of Mark Shain, Bill Herr, Jeanie Zimmer, Todd Felhofer and Mark Lacke, recommended a consolidated debt option with Forward Financial Bank, examined a re-designed school budget document and a compensation plan for employees. The full board then approved the re-financing recommendation.
