83-Year-Old Marshfield Man Struck by a Car

-An 83-year-old Marshfield man is in critical condition after being hit by a car on Thursday.According to the Marshfield Police Department, the accident happened around 8:45pm on the 100 block of Central Avenue. James Eisner was walking across the road when he was hit by a car driven by 60-year-old Kieran Clark.
According to an officer who was at the scene at the time of the accident, Eisner crossed the street in an area without a cross walk and he was wearing dark clothing. It also appeared that he wasn't looking at traffic. Clark hit the breaks to try and avoid Eisner and he appeared to be driving an acceptable speed.
Eisner is in St. Joseph's Hospital and Clark has not been issued a citation.
