Greenwood Man Charged With Sexual Assault of a Child Appears in Court

A Greenwood man facing child sex charges in Eau Claire County appeared in court.

According to court records, Ricky Doede was talking to an undercover cop who was posing as a 14-year-old girl.  When officials stopped Doede he admitted that he was traveling to meet the girl and he knew she was underage.

Doede is facing charges of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement and attempted sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age.

He has a $10,000 signature bond against him.  During his arraignment, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.
