Spencer Woman Arrested for Murder-for-Hire Plot Pleads Not Guilty

Tuesday, December 30th, 2014 -- 12:20 PM

-A Spencer women arrested for allegedly trying to hire someone to kill two people has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.

According to the Clark County Sheriff's Department, 46-year-old Shari Klimmer and 21-year-old Porscha Rizzi tried to hire someone to kill the fathers of Rizzi's two children. According to testimony from detectives and investigators with the Clark County Sheriff's Department, both Klimmer and Rizzi approached two different individuals about trying to kill the fathers of Rizzi's two children. The women offered jewelry, the title to a vehicle, pills, money and sex with strippers in return for the murders.

The women provided photos, addresses and vehicle descriptions of the two men. They also said they wanted it done soon because one of the fathers wanted to change custody arrangements. The two individuals they approached came forward because they said the women seemed very serious and were afraid someone would get hurt.

Rizzi appeared in court on Monday and pleaded not guilty to the charges. She also requested a new judge. Klimmer pleaded not guilty and asked for a new judge earlier this month. Both women have been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit first degree homicide and they are in the Clark County jail with a $500,000 bond.
