Administrators' and Committee Reports at Owen-Withee School Board

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday of last week.District Administrator Bob Houts notified Dee Wells, Julie Wendler and Paul Heggemeier that they were up for election this spring. Candidacy papers and the form for non-candidacy were provided to the three incumbents. Mr. Jim Scheuer has invited board members who attend the State Education Convention in Milwaukee to a session put on by three of the state music associations entitled, "Building and Sustaining Quality Music Education Classrooms."
Finally, the board heard the Committee Reports. The Technology Committee met last week. The main purpose was to consider what the district will do to keep their 1:1 technology initiative going. The lease for the iPads and laptops taken out three years ago is paid off. The committee needs to set a direction of where we want to go next year.
