Neillsville City Council Hears Library Board Report

-The Neillsville City Council heard a report from a recent Library Board Meeting.Jo Ann Gustavson reported that the Library Foundation provided funding for a copier/scanner/printer and the Foundation is now registered with Amazon Smiles. She also reported that the library received the Mead Witter Foundation Library Grant. Finally, Jo Ann mentioned that she and Kathy Wagner attended the WLA Conference. Kathy Wagner also added that they had good participation for the Children's Story Hour.
The board also discussed the carpet installation project for the library. Unfortunately, funding projections decreased due to a grant not coming through, but they are approaching Russell's of Neillsville for an installation option that won't require all the book shelves to be moved.
Finally, the board discussed their meeting schedule for 2015 and talked about some upcoming events for the beginning of next year.
