Granton School Board Approves Open Enrollment Requests

-The Granton School Board approved open enrollment requests.The Granton School Board approved four Alternative Open Enrollment Applications. They also discussed, but ultimately tabled, a proposed Summer School Coordinator position. They also approved the 1st reading of the Bring Your Own Technology Policy.
Also, the administration presented information about the budget and upcoming discussions it will shared with the school board on next year's budget. In January the administration will present information on proposed curriculum and staffing changes.
Finally, the board reviewed a staff request for time off, but no action was taken and they heard a presentation by the administration of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.
