Granton Man Accused of Sexual Assault

-A Granton man has been accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.According to court records, in June of 2009, a 16-year-old girl and friends were at the home of 34-year-old Timothy Wilson for a cookout near Chili. The 16-year-old reported that Wilson gave her alcohol and she and several others stayed overnight.
The next morning, the others left leaving the girl alone with Wilson. She then stated that Wilson pulled off her clothes and had sex with her against her will. The girl's mother reported the assault later and two family friends of Wilson told authorities that he admitted to having sex with the girl, but he stated it was consensual.
Wilson has been charged with 2nd degree sexual assault and he'll appear in court in January.
