Memorial Medical Center Foundation Completes "Caring for our Community" Pledge Drive

-The Memorial Medical Center Foundation announced the completion of their 2014/2105 employee pledge drive appropriately named "Caring for our Community".During the months of October and November, employees at Memorial Medical Center were asked to donate to the MMC Foundation to help raise funds for needed medical equipment and purchases that will serve the patients and community. In total, over the past 2 years, the Memorial Medical Center Foundation has funded almost $200,000.00 in equipment purchases and needed items for the medical center.
"The Foundation is critical in helping us with needed capital equipment" commented Ryan Neville, MMC CEO and member of the Foundation Board of Directors. "The cost of medical equipment continues to increase and as we strive to offer the best to our patients, the Foundation helps fund projects that otherwise would be difficult to purchase."
In total, employees at Memorial Medical Center pledged over $26,000.00 to the Foundation during the employee pledge drive. Shelley Janke, Executive Director of the Foundation stated "our employees are so generous. They understand the importance of our hospital to our community and have proven their loyalty by opening up their wallets and pledging part of their income to the medical center. It's a great testament to our staff."
