Opening Saturday of Deer Hunt Safe and Successful

The 9 day gun season started safely yesterday with no reported accidents or incidents.

Fog hampered hunters efforts in some areas of the state. Preliminary harvest numbers will be released tomorrow but deer registration stations locally saw a steady flood of successful hunters throughout the day.
