Owen-Withee School Board Summary

The Owen-Withee School Board continued to discuss a resolution regarding school funding at their Monday meeting.The board continues to discuss resolutions it wishes to put forward regarding equitable school funding and the issuance of vouchers to private schools. Draft resolutions will be presented to the Board at the December meeting.
The board also tried, for the second time, to get a picture of the board, but, due to the absence of two Board members, the photo will be taken at the December meeting.
Finally, District Administrator Bob Houts presented to the board a draft copy of a 2015-16 district calendar. The board discussed some of the dates on the calendar, but was generally pleased with how it laid out for the year. This draft copy will now be presented to the staff for their input and then brought back to the board for final approval at the December meeting.
