Owen-Withee School Board Approves Revised 2014-2015 Budget

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard a presentation and approved the revised 2014-2015 budget for the district at their meeting on Monday.Cast for the One-Act Play and their advisor were on hand to tell the board about the successes the cast and crew of "A Child Shall Lead" have had so far this fall. The troupe has moved through the sub-district, district and sectional levels and will be performing at state on November 20th through the 21st in LaCrosse. They also did two shows last weekend that drew over 300 people.
Also, after passing the levy at the October Board meeting, District Administrator Bob Houts and Jolyn Miller entered final numbers into the 2014-15 district budget. An additional $43,000 was made available in revenues, mostly due to a declining enrollment exemption. The board unanimously approved the revisions to the budget that was originally established at the annual meeting in August.
