Neillsville Fire Department Responds to One Vehicle Accident on Sunday Afternoon

-The Neillsville Fire Department assisted with a one vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon.The department received a report, just before 1pm, of a one vehicle accident that occurred about 200 yards north of Freemont Road on County Road C in the Township of York.
According to Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer, the driver of the vehicle missed the curve and rolled into the ditch and across the field. She was the only person in the car.
The Neillsville Fire Department assisted the Granton First Responders and Granton Fire Department in loading the woman into the ambulance. They also assisted with some traffic control.
The department was on scene about 20 minutes and the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
