Neillsville School Board Approves Open Campus for the New School Year

-The Neillsville School Board approved the open campus request at their meeting on Monday.The district decided to wait until after the 1st quarter before implementing open campus. They had it last year and it went well. Open Campus is available for all 9th-12th graders as approved by the administration.
The board also approved a large handful of Youth Options Requests. Both the school counselor and the principal went through them and no problems were identified.
Several out of state field trips were approved as well. The FFA was approved to go to the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. The Choir folks will be going to the Dorian Music Festival in Iowa and they will go to several theme parks in Florida to perform.
Finally, the board approved the 7th grade class to go to the Festival of Nations in Minnesota.
