Administrators' Reports at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting, Middle/High School

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday of last week.Junior/Senior High School Dean of Students Julie VanArk reported on Parent/Teacher Conferences held on October 6th. 86 parents attended which is an increase of 20 parents over last year.
Homecoming week went well. New activities this year was hall decorating and powder puff football being done on Sunday afternoon. Kudos was given to Mrs. Jaskot, Mrs. Winger and the Student Council for a great job of planning and running the week's events.
The One-Act Play earned three advance ratings at the District competition at Eau Claire Regis. The troupe moves on to sectional competition on November 6th or 7th. The play will be performed for the public on November 8th and 9th. Congratulations were given to Mrs. Scheuer, Mrs. Swartz and the entire cast and crew!
Finally, Junior High sports teams did well, 7th grade VB went 18-0, 8th grade VB was 13-5, Junior High FB was 3-1-1 and the junior high Cross Country team ran very well and garnered several medals during the season. Also, congratulations were given to Mrs. Swartz, Mr. Gutsch, the choir and the band for an excellent fall concert held on October 19th.
