Owen-Withee Schools Set State Testing Schedule

The Owen-Withee School Board heard the testing schedule for the district at their meeting on Monday.District Administrator Bob Houts presented the testing schedule that is being implemented this school year. This schedule is only the tests that are required by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
The schedule started with the ACT Aspire test given to 9th grade students last week. The WCKE test will be given to 4th, 8th and 10th grade students over the next two weeks.
The ACCESS test will be given to some students in December and the NAEP test will be given to 4th, 8th and 10th grade students in February.
The ACT test will be given to Juniors on March 3rd. The ACT Work Keys will be given to Juniors on March 4th. All students in grades 3-8 will be given the Smarter Balanced Assessment in March/April.
Finally, the 9th and 10th grade students will take the ACT Aspire test in April/May.
