Neillsville Finance Committee Prepares 2015 Budget, Final

The Neillsville Finance Committee has been met the past couple weeks to create the 2015 budget for the city.During a Finance Committee meeting held on October 15th, the committee went over and approved the wage schedule for the 2015 year and approved picking up 12% of the 9.9% health insurance increase.
No additional action was taken on budget cuts or changes. The committee then went over a handful of lines of the budget and approved them one by one.
Finally, the city looked at the committee looked at the proposed 2015 budget for the City of Neillsville. The total expenditure and contingency came to $3,402,245, total revenues and funds applied came to $2,354,809 with the Net City Levy coming to $1,098,105.
A public hearing for the 2015 budget will be held during the first common council meeting of November. The date is Monday, November 10th at 7:15pm.
