Former Abbotsford Teacher Appears in Marathon County Court for Sexual Assault Charges

-A former Abbotsford teacher accused of sexually assaulting two of his students appeared in Marathon County Court on Thursday for additional charges filed against him in Marathon County.Back in January, the Abbotsford Police Department began an investigation into allegations that 26-year-old Andy Follen of Spencer had an inappropriate relationship with some of his female students. After authorities interviewed the two female students, who admitted to engaging in sexual activities with Follen, authorities charged him with five counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff here in Clark County. He was also charged with bail jumping and intimidating a victim after he was caught contacting one of the victims in this matter.
Follen has now been charged with two more counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff after investigators learned of two more incidents that occurred in January of this year at Follen's home in Spencer which is in Marathon County. A $10,000 signature bond was set against him.
Follen is scheduled for a jury trial here in Clark County on February 9th and he'll appear in Marathon County Court again next week Tuesday.
