Neillsville Finance Committee Prepares 2015 Budget, City Hall, Clerk-Treasurer, Administration

-The Neillsville Finance Committee has been meeting for the past couple weeks to create the 2015 budget for the city.During a Finance Committee meeting held on October 9th, the committee heard the budget for the Neillsville City Hall. Their budget had a slight increase from 2014's $37,418 to 2015's $37,479. During this time, they also talked about the city hall's managed services for their IT-infrastructure and making changes to their internet and phone provider.
The budget for the Clerk-Treasurer's Office also increased slightly from 2014's $63,183 to 2015's $63,333. Finally, at the October 9th meeting, the committee heard the Administration budget which increased from 2014's $821,639 to 2015's $905,211. The major increases there were attributed to insurance, workers comp and more.
A public hearing for the 2015 budget will be held during the first common council meeting in November.
