Public Comments Start the Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard a few public comments to start their meeting on Monday.Dan Coughlin shared his comments regarding the local newspaper and the development of a journalism class for Greenwood's students. Mike Kitzhaber shared his comments regarding board members and decisions being discussed and made. Finally, Tony Horvath shared his comments about the possibility of purchasing automatic doors for the elementary school.
The board also approved an FBLA field trip, reviewed the changes in the 300 series of policies and set a future policy committee meeting for November 19th. The board reviewed the 2014-2015 budget and they certified the 2014-2015 tax levy.
Finally, the board discussed automatic door openers for the elementary school, but they did not have bids come in so they were not able to take any action. It will be placed on the November agenda.
