Owen City Council Reviews Purchases and Violations

-The Owen City Council approved a couple offers to purchase city property at their meeting last week.David & Tracey Taylor submitted an offer of $125 to purchase City property that lies behind their property at 303 N. Madsen Street. It is a 30' x 50' parcel. Mark Pabich of Master Package Corporation would like to purchase City Property adjacent to his building. The council approved sending both offers to purchase City Property to the Planning Commission.
The council also approved several properties in violation of various ordinances. For the most part, the violations were already handled by the time the council saw them, but there were a few remaining.
Finally, the council approved a resolution to execute the deed to Golden Warriors, LLC. and approved the amendments to the 2014 Budget totaling $2,939.78.
