Wisconsin DOT Hosting Meeting on Loyal Road Work Project

-The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is hosting a public involvement meeting to discuss plans for the reconstruction of approximately one mile of South and Main Streets, from Helm Street to Elm Drive, in the City of Loyal.The meeting is scheduled from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, October 30th at the Loyal City Hall. The meeting will follow an open house format with a short presentation at 5:15pm.
The project will be a full urban reconstruction with new sidewalks, terraces, curb & gutter, storm sewer and pavement. The city will also be replacing the sanitary sewer and water main facilities. This work will require some additional right-of-way along South and Main Streets. The construction is tentatively scheduled for 2017.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask question concerning this project. Exhibits showing the plan concepts will be on display and staff from the Wisconsin DOT will be available to discuss and answer questions about the project on an individual basis.
