Vehicle Vs. Pedestrian Accident In Neillsville

The fire whistle sounded in Neillsville at approximately 11:50 am Saturday morning due to a vehicle verses pedestrian accident on Hewett and 4th street by the Neillsville Public Library.According to Fire Chief Matt Meyer, a pedestrian was struck and transported by ambulance to Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The Neillsville Fire Department was on the scene for about 15 minutes assisting the ambulance and helping with traffic control.
