Board Approves Resolution To Employee Handbook

One resolution was approved by the Clark County Board of Supervisors at their meeting Thursday evening.The resolution made revision to the Clark County Employee Handbook regarding types of employment. The revisions include a change in the part time employee language. In the revised wording, part time was modified to part time benefited and part time non benefitted.
The other major change was the definition of a temporary employee. In the
original wording, it read that the temporary employee would work between 1040-2000 hours during a one year period. In the revised wording it stated that a temporary employee would have a position not exceeding 12 months of employment and the amount of hours was removed all together.**
