Marshfield Woman Sentenced for Drug Charges

Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 -- 9:26 AM

-A Marshfield woman was sentenced for charges of manufacturing and delivering heroin.

27-year-old Brittany Gilman was charged for allegedly selling heroin to an undercover agent. Gilman?s roommate, 25-year-old Jordan Staab, was the master mind behind the incident and was sentenced to jail time for his part in the crimes.

However, Gilman allegedly accepted $300 for nine small packages of heroin and delivered them to an undercover agent.

Gilman had three counts of manufacturing and delivering less than 3 grams of heroin. She entered no contest pleas and was found guilty of two of the three. The other was dismissed but read in.

She had a jail sentence of 4 years imposed and stayed, so if she completes her 4 years of extended supervision and 5 years of probation, she will serve no jail time, except for the additional 90 days the judge ordered. She also owes the courts almost $800.
