Employment Matters Discussed at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board accepted the resignations of Teresa Johnson, Jolene York and Daron Fuglsang who all accepted a position at another school district. The board thanked them for their years of service.
The board also approved several contracts including Heather Durrstein as a special education aide, Heidi Foottit at 52% as a 4-year-old Kindergartner teacher, Megan Brown and Jessica Brown as middle school teachers, Matthew Steimann as a long term sub and Lynelle Love as a maternity leave sub and she?ll be working Mondays of each week during September and October.
The board also approved Heather Krempasky as a sub and approved the hiring of John Waters as the technology education teacher, until a teacher is hired for that department. He will work three days a week and he?ll be paid the amount that was discussed.
Finally, the board approved a long list of volunteers including Amy Yurkovich, Danny Bravener, Brad Zimbauer, Stephanie Stieglitz, Danae Stieglitz, Wendy Hinker, Brenda Learman, Jessica Wolf, John Davidson, Sue Haunschild, Cherrylyn Flick, Dawn Terrill and Jodi Kitzhaber. There was also one person not approved as a sub.
