The Owen-Withee School Board Hears Administrators' Reports (Middle/High)

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators? Reports at their meeting last week.Jr/Sr High School Dean of Students Julie VanArk reported on the great start to the school year and the Professional Learning Community initiative of getting students involved in their education. The #Whatchawannabe? Campaign got off to a good start and will be maintained throughout the school year.
The orientation night/open house was a tremendous success and the Choir is holding a fund raiser on September 20th at 7:00 PM. This is a concert featuring an acappella group. Choir students are selling tickets for the concert.
Picture Day in the Jr/Sr high will be on Tuesday, September 16th. Homecoming will be the week of October 6th-10th and Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, October 6th.
Finally, the One-Act play got started this week with 30 students participating.
