Public Works Report at Owen City Council Meeting

-The Owen City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting on Tuesday of last week.The Director of Public Works Gary Smith reported that MSA is working on a plan for the culverts on Willow Road. He also mentioned that the City has received the black dirt and only some of the clay that will fill in where the tractor pulls takes place.
Smith also reminded the Council of the 4th Street water and sewer needs to be completed soon and that Mike Voss, MSA Professional Services, is working on the plans for the 2015 project.
The council also approved the Owen Police Department to swap 6 LED lights in exchange for 2 used excellent condition AED units and 2 brand new CPR bag masks from the Owen-Withee-Curtiss Fire Department.
The council also approved to hold goose hunting in the City of Owen. All hunters must complete applications at City Hall or the Owen Police Department.
