Owen-Withee School Board Approves Insurance Vendor

-The Owen-Withee School Board approved the district?s insurance vendor at their meeting last week.District Administrator Bob Houts presented the board with bids from three insurance vendors covering the district?s insurance, which includes property, liability, auto, worker?s comp, etc. The three bids were from The Insurance Company, Stratford Insurance and Spectrum Insurance.
The lowest bid was presented by the district?s current insurance company, TIC. The board unanimously approved continuing the district?s insurance with TIC.
Finally, the board heard that the Wisconsin Association of School Boards Region 5 meeting will be Held on Tuesday evening, September 30th. At present, Rick Eloranta, Julie Wendler and Bob Houts will represent the District at the meeting.
