Granton School Board Approve Several Items as New School Year Begins

-The Granton School Board finalized some items at their meeting on Monday evening as the beginning of the school year gets underway.The board referred the Clark County Land Acquisition proposal associated with the bridge repair project on County Road K to the Annual Meeting for approval. They also approved an administrative proposal for the supervision of "Open Gym" two nights per week.
The board tabled a proposed policy related to "Bring Your Own Device to School". The policy will receive a first reading on October 13.
The board also heard the Principal?s Report from Granton Principal Rhonda Opelt. The district was notified that it is has been identified as a School of Recognition and will be honored at a ceremony in Madison on October 13. Principal Opelt along with two staff members will accept the honor for the school district.
