UPDATE: One Person Killed in One Vehicle Accident that Occured in the Township of Loyal

Clark County Authorities have released the name of the driver killed in a one vehicle accident Thursday.The driver of the vehicle was 31 year old Brad L. Mews of the Town of Unity.

-The Clark County Sheriff?s Department is investigating a one vehicle crash that resulted in the fatality of the driver.
Just after 3:30pm on Thursday, the department received a call about an accident on Rock Creek Road near Miller Avenue in the Township of Loyal.
The initial investigation reveals that a pickup truck was traveling east on Rock Creek Road when it passed a horse and buggy, lost control, entered the south ditch, came back on the road, spun counter clockwise, flipped twice and ejected the driver.
The driver was transported to St. Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield where he later died of his injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt during the accident.
The Clark County Sheriff?s Department is continuing to investigate the incident and the driver?s name is not being released at this time. This is Clark County?s fourth traffic fatality.
