Employment Matters at the Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board began their meeting with a tour of the elementary and middle/high school in regards to the work done over the summer.The Greenwood school board members met at 5:45 to view the work that was done at the elementary school over the summer. After they completed the tour of the elementary school they completed their walk through of the schools by viewing the work that has been done at the middle and high school building. The school board members thanked Mr. Suda and Mr. Rasmussen, as well as the rest of the summer custodial crew, for all of the work that has been completed in both buildings.
In employment matters, the board also approved Deanna Jordan as a 4th grade teacher, Kelsey Wall as a 3rd grade teacher, Kathleen Rachu as a cook and custodian, Thomas Reetz as a night custodian, Carey Petri as the varsity girls? basketball coach and Ryan Joten as the middle school boy?s football coach.
They also accepted the resignations of Julie Scheidler and Michelle North and thanked them for their many years of service at the district.
The board approved Lynelle Love and Wayne Genteman as volunteers, approved the substitutes list and approved a family medical leave request.
