The Highground Holding Opening Ceremonies for Traveling Wall Exhibits, Hear it Live on 1370AM WCCN

-The Highground continues to celebrate it?s Week of Honor and Remembrance today with the opening ceremonies for the ?Wall of Remembrance,? ?Wall that Heals,? and the Canadian Vietnam Wall.Each day, starting today, and running through Sunday, August 17th, The Highground will be holding a special ceremony with guest speakers.
Today, those present at The Highground will be reading the names of the Wisconsin men and women killed or missing in action from Vietnam, Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom at 2pm.
At 4pm, The Highground will have the opening ceremony for the ?Wall of Remembrance? with special guest speakers General Mark Anderson and Gold Star Mother Celeste Kaufman. At 6pm, they will have the opening ceremony for the ?Wall that Heals? and Canadian Vietnam Wall with guest speakers General Mark Anderson and Vietnam Veterans John Van Wie and Steve Maddox.
You will be able to hear both of these ceremonies live on 1370AM WCCN at 4 and 6 and, as I mentioned, The Highground will have a ceremony each day from now until Sunday. Make sure you take time to see these moving exhibits while they?re here.
