New Executive Director of the Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Excited to Begin

-The Neillsville Chamber of Commerce will soon welcome their new executive director into the position.Lori Schultz has been a lifelong Clark County native. She grew up in Willard on her parent?s dairy farm and graduated from the Greenwood High School. She moved to Neillsville when she married her husband and she?s lived and worked in Neillsville for over 30 years. She recently worked in downtown Eau Claire at RCU?s corporate center.
Lori decided to apply for the executive director position as she saw the opportunity to work with the community new and refreshing.
Lori talked about what she?s looking forward to as the new executive director.
Lori said, "I'm looking forward to working with the chamber, the board of directors, the ambassador's group and working to improve and grow community events. And, of course, working with local businesses. Promoting them!"
Lori said that she knows she has big shoes to fill in taking this position, but she?s looking forward to the challenge.
"I know Deanna's departure from the position of executive director leaves big shoes for me to fill," said Lori. "I'm excited to learn from her. Her enthusiasm for her work in the community is both remarkable and contagious. I look forward to working with the board of directors and ambassador's group in carrying out the mission of the chamber. I look forward to promoting Neillsville as a great place to live, work and visit."
And for those of you worried that Lori is going to throw everything out the window and start from scratch, don?t be. She said the chamber has been doing a wonderful job and she has no intention of making major changes.
