Neillsville Man Will be Sentenced for Sexual Assault

-A Neillsville man charged with sexual assault and incest will be sentenced in October.According to the criminal complaint, a 48-year-old Neillsville man began sexually assaulting a relative at the age of 12 and continued until the age of 16.
The man did enter a guilty plea to 2nd degree sexual assault of a child. The remaining three charges, one count of incest with a child and two counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child, were dismissed and read in.
The defense then requested a reduction of bond for his client, but the state objected. The court sided with the state and the man?s bond remained the same.
He will be sentenced at the beginning of October.
