Neillsville City Council Approves Compliance Maintenance Resolution

-The Neillsville City Council approved the Compliance Maintenance Resolution at their meeting on Tuesday.The council first heard about the resolution during the Public Works portion of the meeting. The report is required by the DNR to see how the city is running its water and sewer plant. It looks at different factors including flow and loadings, quality, staffing, collection, systems and more and grades each category.
Neillsville received a perfect 4.0 grade, receiving an ?A? in all categories. The report was part of a resolution that was approved during the Public Works portion of the meeting and then approved again during the Common Council meeting.
The council also approved a $100 donation to the Neillsville Dairy Breakfast being held at the Art & Sandy Luedeke farm on Sunday, June 8th. The money will come from the Economic Development line of the city?s budget.
