Greenwood City Council Discusses Trespassing

-The City of Greenwood discussed trespassing during their city council meeting last week.The council discussed trespassing on city property and they decided to have the Public Works Department put no hunting signs up.
They also approved the wood bids to be submitted for logging at the Bowman?s Club and approved the resignation of Stevana Skinner affective on May 29th.
The council approved GPS central points for all existing utilities and they?re checking into hiring to have new volleyball courts put in.
The council also denied a claim for water damages from Sylvester Harris as the council felt the incident was an ?act of god? as they put it. They approved to change having 2 at-large council members and directed the city attorney to change the Ordinance to reflect that.
Finally, they approved the offer to lease to Ryan Beineck for $2,550.00 for a year and allow him to cut down certain trees.
