Greenwood Man Appears in Clark County Court for Sexual Assault Charges

-A Greenwood man made an initial appearance in Clark County Court on Monday for the sexual assault of a child.According to the criminal complaint, on April 11th, 36-year-old Ehrin Scott entered the bedroom of the 14-year-old victim and had intercourse with the individual. Scott apparently lived in the residence with the parents of the victims.
When called into the Greenwood Police Department, Scott admitted to an officer that he had sex with the victim and he was placed under arrest.
Scott is currently in jail on a $10,000 cash bail and he?s been charged with one count of sexual assault of a child, a felony. If convicted of the maximum amount, he could face 40 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
