Employment Matters Were Discussed at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-Employment matters were discussed at the recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting.District Administrator Bob Houts provided the Board with documentation on what the base wage increase would be for the teaching and support staff and the administration.
The maximum CPI increase the Board can offer is 1.46%. The Board voted unanimously to offer all three groups the 1.46% increase and authorized Bob Houts to meet with the teachers and support staff to make the offer and get the settlement approved.
The Board also unanimously approved offering Kat Lawcewicz a full time teaching contract for the 2014-15 school year. Mrs. Lawcewicz will continue to teach art ? time, but will pick up elementary computer instruction duties currently done by Mr. Wayne Lubke who is retiring in June.
