67th Alice in Dairyland Finals Have Begun

-The 67th Alice in Dairyland finals have gotten under way here in Clark County.On Thursday, the candidates toured Holland?s Family Cheese?s new facility in Thorp, stopped at Thorp?s Amazing, Grazing Cows and participated in press interviews Thursday afternoon. Afterwards, they went to Munson Bridge Winery for dinner and heard about the history of the winery.
Today, the candidates will be touring Ridge Place Holsteins in Neillsville, ADS in Greenwood, Posey Patch Greenhouse in Owen and Rustic Metal Works in Withee.
Later this evening, they will be at the Loyal American Legion for an impromptu Q&A session. Tomorrow is the finale at El Norteno in Curtiss where the new Alice in Dairyland will be crowned.
The 2014 Alice in Dairyland finalists include Allyson Binversie, Manitowoc; Zoey Brooks, Waupaca; Katie Dogs, Watertown; Kristin Klossner, New Glarus; Melissa Ploeckelman, Stetsonville; and Whitney Rathke, Fredonia. They will replace the current Alice, Kristen Olson.
