Thursday, May 15th, 2014 -- 10:13 AM

-The Neillsville City Council heard several committee reports during their meeting on Tuesday.

The council heard two Heritage Days reports. The first talked about Ellen Clark, Neillsville?s Deputy Clerk-Treasurer, volunteering her services in creating Neillsville?s Heritage Days Facebook page and adding a Heritage Days page on the City?s Website under the ?Things to Do? tab.

Dan Clough updated the committee on various activities happening before the parade in the downtown area and Deanna Heiman, Neillsville Chamber Executive Director, said that the Heritage Days Poster will continue to be updated as will a map with the location of the activities happening.

The committee also approved to hire Fab 5 for four hours Sunday afternoon after the parade and discussed wood carving, a golf outing, children?s activities, game and more.

During the next Heritage Days report, the council heard that The Danish Peasant will be playing downtown before the parade on Sunday. The Heritage Days poster was also updated and prizes were discussed as this year is Heritage Day?s 20th Anniversary.
