Final Items from Recent Neillsville City Council Meeting

-Here are some final items from the Neillsville City Council meeting on Tuesday.

The council did have an appearance by Dr. David Paustian of Paustian Medical and Surgical Center. This facility is located on Maple Road in Neillsville and offers health care services at lower prices.

The council also heard the Officer?s Report from Police Chief Brad Lindner. Chief Lindner said that Officer Jacob Aumann will be off for a couple more months as he recovers from an injury he received during an arrest. He also said that they have hired a new parking enforcement officer.

During the communications portion of the meeting, Mayor Mabie read a thank you from the owners of the Central Wisconsin Horse Sale and read a couple municipality changes approved during the recent legislative session. Clerk-Treasurer Rex Roehl read a thank you from the Clark County Aging Office, talked about the Neillsville June Dairy Breakfast volunteer sheet, mentioned a regional workshop and said the 2014 Committee schedule is complete.

Finally, the council heard the public works report. The reported included the usual amount of work done in the city. Public Works Director Dave Flynn was absent from the meeting, but he did have a thank you note on his report in regards to the sympathies received in the passing of his mother.
