Neillsville City Council Approves Candidates for Summer Help

-The Neillsville City Council approved the list of candidates for summer help in the city.A long list of individuals was approved by the council. Their names were put into a pool and they will be selected for various positions in various departments and areas of the city to work this summer.
The council also approved a request for a grass volleyball fundraiser in Schuster Park on June 21st and they approved the change of the annuity carrier for the Wisconsin Defined Contribution Service Award which benefits firefighters.
Finally, the council approved the appropriation of Listeman Funds and that will be used for Heritage Days and the 4th of July fireworks display. Heritage Days will receive $2,000 and the fireworks will receive $3,500.
