Fairchild Man Found Guilty of Sexual Assault Charges

-A Fairchild man accused of sexual assault of a 15-year-old was found guilty on Thursday.Towards the end of 2013, 18-year-old Christopher Wampole Jr. and his father, 41-year-old Christopher Wampole Sr. had sexual assault of a minor charges filed against them after an incident involving a 15-year-old girl.
The two men had additional charges filed against them including possession of child pornography and exposing a child to harmful material after they traded nude photos with the girl.
Wampole Sr. was found guilty of two charges, sexual assault of a child and exposing a child to harmful material. The other charges were dismissed and read in. He will be sentenced in July.
Wampole Jr. was found guilty of 4th degree sexual assault, a misdemeanor, and child enticement-sexual contact and two counts of exposing a child to harmful material, both felonies back in April. He was sentenced to 3 years? probation, 240 hours of community services and owes over $500 in court costs.
