Greenwood School Board Approves Increase in Teacher's Wages

-The Greenwood School Board reorganized their officers during their meeting on Wednesday.

Roger Sonnentag was voted as president, Russell Dean as vice president, Jerome Krempasky as clerk, Mark Shain as treasurer and Bill Herr as the member.

The board also approved the purchasing of a new dish washer at the elementary school. The original dish washer broke and needed to be replaced.

The board also met and conferred with Lindsay Meissner and Margo Johnson. The school board made the motion to approve a 1.46% increase in wages for teachers. This will be an increase of $571.55 per teacher for the 2014-2015 school year. The teachers will receive their 2014-2015 contracts with their salary amounts on them next week before May 15. Support staff contracts and salary were suspended until the May 19th meeting. The board did approve a 1.46% increase of the Administrators including Todd Fischer, Jeanie Zimmer and Jennifer Vogler.

Finally, Lindsay Johnson was approved as the District Assessment Coordinator and RTI coordinator. She will be responsible for all testing in the school district.
