Granton Teacher Selected as Crystal Apple Recipient

-Two central Wisconsin teachers were surprised Tuesday morning by being awarded as Crystal Apple recipients.Students nominate teachers for the award which is meant to acknowledge the best teachers in the area. More than 800 nominations were received from students nominating 225 teachers. 24 were selected as finalists.
Amy Hanna an English teacher at Granton was chosen as a recipient as was Kathleen Phillips a band teacher at Marshfield.
They will be honored, along with the other finalists, during a banquet in Marshfield on October 1st.
